The Carmo Convent, a Baroque conventual building located in the historic center of Évora dating back to the 16th century, is in the process of being developed into the eagerly anticipated 4-star superior Boutique Hotel.

Currently, both the Quantum Capital team and the interior designers, along with our partners SARAIVA E ASSOCIADOS (SEA) and Amazing Evolution, are dedicated to swiftly advancing with all necessary changes to modernize and optimize the final project. They are also focused on fine-tuning some of the layout decisions. All teams have been collaborating on the final drawings to create a cohesive end product, incorporating all new inputs into the plans.

The previously approved project envisions the complete rehabilitation and modernization of the existing masonry, along with the construction of a new wing, creating a perfect blend of preserving history and heritage with a modern twist.

The 51 contemporary rooms will coexist within the original ancient layout of the Convent, and the previously unfinished cloisters will incorporate a picturesque garden with a pool. All high-end amenities, including a spa, will provide exquisite comfort to all guests, who will feel like they are in a five-star hotel.
